In un intervista con Spin Magazine Amy aveva annunciato il nome di una nuova canzone: "Hi-Lo".

"Hi-Lo". E' il titolo di un lavoro. E' molto vicina all'electro-pop, non ci sono strumenti organici. E' molto simile a Portishead e Massive Attack, e dal punto di vista testuale è in costruzione, ma non in una direzione arrabbiata o di messa a confronto. E' una cosa tipo "hey, tutto ciò che è successo... l'ho superato e non ce l'ho con te".

La canzone non è stata inserita nella tracklist definitiva dell'omonimo album della band.

On March 30, 2018, a poster at Evanescence's show at the Royal Festival Hall in London, UK stated that both performances at the venue will be recorded "for use in a music video", and there were rumors that it was for Hi-Lo. Paul R. Brown returned to film the shows in London. Amy confirmed it is for the song in a live Facebook Q&A with Lindsey Stirling and Lindsey confirmed that she had filmed her parts for the video seperately. It's rumored to be released before the 2018 Summer U.S. tour begins.
