Cruel Summer è una canzone del gruppo anglo-irlandese Bananarama. Fu estratta come singolo dal loro omonimo secondo album pubblicato nel 1984. Amy Lee e Troy McLawhorn ne hanno eseguito una cover acustica durante la streaming dal vivo per Metal Hammer Germany il 4 giugno 2020. La cover fu pubblicata in seguito come traccia bonus nell'edizione giapponese e in quella target dell'album The Bitter Truth. Questo è ciò che Amy ha detto riguardo la canzone subito dopo averla eseguito:
