My Last Breath is the tenth track from Evanescence's debut album, Fallen. It was originally recorded during the 2001-2002 demo sessions before being chosen for the album.
During the "behind the scenes" section of the Anywhere But Home DVD, Amy received a fan's painting that was inspired by the song.
In an interview, Amy and Ben said that the 9/11 attacks in New York City inspired them to write this song.[1] The band stopped playing this song after the Fallen Tour, but it was added to the set list to support Evanescence in 2012 for two months.[2]
