Fue la primera canción escrita por Ben Moody, y es conocida como la segunda canción alguna vez escrita de Evanescence. Los audio clips que salen en la canción son de las películas My World Dies Screaming, también conocida como "Terror in the Haunted House" (1958), exceptuando las líneas "We're supposed to try... that is real" y "God, just don't hate me... Because i'll die if you do" las cuales pertenecen a la película When a Man Loves A Woman (1994). Ben Moody se refiere a esta canción como un "Cursi himno gótico de 7 minutos".
