If You Don't Mind is an outtake from The Open Door.[2]
During Amy's The Stashbox contest on September 17, 2012, fans were asked which song they wanted to hear: If You Don't Mind or Your Love.[3] The former was ultimately chosen and was debuted live in the last leg of Evanescence Tour in South America and the UK.
Evanescence performed If You Don't Mind live for the first time on October 4, 2012 in Porto Alegre, Brazil; the first show of their South American tour.[4] Amy opened the song by saying

I'm gonna do something different now; we've had this little song we've been wanting to share for about seven years now, and finally I got tired of waiting. I can't think of any place in the entire world where I'd rather play this song for the very first time; Brazil! This is called 'If You Don't Mind'. |

The studio version of the song was leaked to YouTube on January 20, 2013.
It was officially released on the b-side album, Lost Whispers as part of The Ultimate Collection LP set, and then digitally released on February 17, 2017.[5]
