Who Will You Follow is a song by Evanescence that was released on April 10, 2026 as the lead single for their upcoming sixth studio album, Sanctuary.

The title was leaked by an insider from the ATLR forum on March 25, 2026, with a runtime of 3:55.

Amy shared a comment on Evanescence's Instagram post:

Can’t wait for you to hear this!!! ❤️ So we’re clear, Who Will You Follow is the single, not the album title. Gotta feed you one bite at a time, babies 😘

Amy explained that the song is about breaking through the lies to what’s real.

“I feel like we're just inundated with so much information now, with people that have a stake in what we believe,” Lee says. “It feels like truth is for sale. So this for me is about breaking through that into the real world and, the album, you know, it's called ‘Sanctuary,’ it's like that. It's a sanctuary, not an escape from this chaotic, surreal, violent time, but escape from the lies, saying that we're not living in that crazy time.”

Music video

On March 27, 2026, Evanescence were spotted by fans in downtown Los Angeles filming the music video for "Who Will You Follow". The candid videos show the band playing in the streets to the song at double speed with actors walking behind them. At a couple of points, the Director shouted "freeze" and the actors stopped walking and stayed still until they were further instructed to continue.
