Sometimes incorrectly known as "Further Away". Recorded as a demo in 2001-2002 and later made into a B-side on the "Bring Me to Life" single. Performed live regularly during the many legs of the Fallen Tour.

I think that “Farther Away” is a song that helps young people that feel alone and can't see the light and think is all over; I wrote this thinking when my sister died, as I was having discussions between my parents and in school, I was feeling alone, like nobody could save me [1] |

When performed live, back in 2003, Ben Moody would hand his guitar over to a stage hand close to the end of the song and go into a tribal drum solo. This can be seen in the Live in Cologne performance.
"Farther Away" is one of the songs that missed the cut on Fallen.[2]
