Disappear is the 15th track on the Deluxe Edition of Evanescence's self-titled album. In June 5, 2011, Amy uploaded on Twitter a video in which she plays piano notes from a new song, this song was Disappear.[1][2]
In an interview with MTV, it was stated that the song was originally titled "Release the Kraken," and that the working title after "Release the Kraken" was "Kraken."[3]
Amy said this about Disappear in a Rockline radio interview at July 23, 2012:

...Basically, it's about, losing someone, you know, to giving up or an addiction, losing somebody, feeling like they're slipping away and you want them back as a "hey, you can do it, get back up off the floor" kind of song.[4] |
