General Information

Zelda's Lullaby is a recurring song in The Legend of Zelda game series. Since it's debut in 1991's installment, A Link to the Past, it usually serves as background music whenever Princess Zelda appears and is thus considered to be her theme song. It appears as a playable melody in Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess.

Evanescence added this song to the Synthesis Live orchestra opening for the Australian and European tours. Amy Lee revealed in a Reddit AMA thread that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is one of her favorite games. It's speculated that the song was added in tribute to Amy's brother, Robby Lee, who enjoyed playing video games and passed away only a month before the Australian tour began.
