Forgive Me is the fourth track from Evanescence's second EP, Sound Asleep EP. It's considered one of the most personal songs written by Evanescence. It seems to ask a person for forgiveness about a mistake made by the singer.

Ben Moody on the song:

Q: ...Since you have said "Forgive Me" is not an Evanescence song, are we to assume that it is an Amy Lee song? Ben: No. that was done by both if us.. it just wasn't meant to be...err... actually that was a private song.
