Lies is the ninth track from Evanescence's demo album, Origin.
Bruce Fitzhugh of Living Sacrifice provided the male vocals and Stephanie Pierce provided the female soprano-style backup vocals. Later, this song was remade with Amy and David's vocals with different lyrics.
This is one of Evanescence's shortest titles of all their songs, sharing this title with Sick.
Lies was aired on the radio in the summer of 2000, before Origin was released[1]. The Blitz trasmission, KABF 88.3 FM, had already aired several Evanescence songs.
