General Information
1:38am refers to the name of a Twitter video that features an unknown Evanescence song that Tim McCord posted in 2009. In the video, Tim, Amy Lee and Terry Balsamo are jamming this song at Amy's home studio - most likely at the time of 1:38am.[1][2] This originally might have been planned to be on the third album before it was scrapped and reworked. Little else is known about the song, apart from being part of the scrapped original version of the third album that was focused on programming and electronica.
There are no lyrics despite what has been rumored of what fans think they may hear. It was confirmed by Amy on Twitter that they were "just playing around writing" and no words are being sung.[3]
