In 2013, he and Amy performed a song titled "Find a Way" which they performed together in November 2013 at a Wellspring House benefit concert and in March 2014 at Bluegrass Underground.[5][6] It was originally written for the 2010 action fantasy film Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, but didn't make it to the film.[7]

In 2015 he, Amy and Chuck Palmer composed the score to Hammerstep's short film Indigo Grey: The Passage.[8] Later that year, he played cello on Amy's cover of Portishead's It's a Fire for her Recover EP.[9]

In 2016, he played cello on the piano/vocal version of Even in Death released on Lost Whispers as part of The Ultimate Collection box set.[10][11] He also performed on Amy's children's album, Dream Too Much.

In 2017, he was credited as a string arranger on Amy Lee's Love Exists.[12]

Later that year, Dave and Amy collaborated again on the song All About Anna from his duo Cellogram (formed by Eggar and Chuck Palmer). His duo was an opening act for Evanescence's Synthesis Live Tour in 2018.
