Norwegian Wood is an annual festival in Frognerbadet, Oslo, Norway. It started in 1992.

The name of the festival refers to the famous song Norwegian Wood (The bird Has Flown) by The Beatles.

Notable performances include Johnny Cash (1992), Iggy Pop (1996 and 2002), Faithless (1999 and 2002), Sting (2001), David Bowie (2004), System of a Down (2005) and Tori Amos (2005 and 2007).

Norwegian Wood 2007

Evanescence performed at this festival for the first time on Friday, June 15, 2007 whilst touring for The Open Door. The show was recorded by NRK and could be watched livestreamed on internet. The other bands that performed the same day was Enslaved and Korn.
