Robby Lee is Amy Lee, Carrie Lee and Lori Lee's younger brother and son of John Lee and Sara Cargill. Amy wrote The Cartoon Network Song in 2004 about him and missing the channel when touring.

My little brother is 10 and of course he loves Cartoon Network, and it's my favorite channel. So I went to the Cartoon Network and did an interview with a puppet and I wrote a cheesy song on the guitar about Cartoon Network and how much I love and miss it on tour, and it was really stupid. I kind of regret it, but not really. My little brother had a blast. And we got all kinds of free toys and stuff, too.

In 2005, Amy created a campaign with the Epilepsy Foundation called Out of the Shadows to bring more awareness of the condition as Robby suffered with severe seizures from a young age.

In 2016 Robby recorded vocals for Hello, Goodbye on Amy's children's album, Dream Too Much.

On January 11, 2018, Amy posted the devastating news that Robby had passed away.

Today I said goodbye to one of my best friends in life, one of my favorite people on earth, my irreplaceable little brother, Robby. If you knew my family, you knew him. He was the absolute best of us, everybody’s favorite, our hero. He inspired and influenced so many people. He was incredibly kind, loving, thoughtful, generous, witty, hilarious, selfless. He loved music. He loved animals. He loved people. More than anything he loved us, and he always showed us. Robby battled severe epilepsy since he was 7 and we always knew our time together was precious- he loved like every day could be the last. He always told us he loved us, every single time we were together. May we all live like that- don’t waste any time. I love him more than I could ever say in words, and I will miss him every day for the rest of my life. He will always be such a huge part of me. Sweet dreams, Rob. I know we’ll be together again in heaven. And I’ll see you in my dreams.

On May 23, 2018, Amy posted a picture of her very first tattoo which is in tribute to Robby. It includes three hearts from The Legend of Zelda video game, which is Amy's favourite game series.

Well, I held out for 36 years but today I got my first tattoo. It’s exactly what my brother wanted, but didn’t get the chance to get. I always thought it was cool but it means more to me now. Besides the fact that playing Zelda together was one of our favorite things, he took a piece of my heart with him when he left. I love you forever, Robby!

For Evanescence's co-headlining tour with Lindsey Stirling in Summer 2018, the band added a cover of The Beatles' Across the Universe in tribute to Robby as they were his favorite band.

On October 6, 2020 - on what would have been his 27th birthday - Amy shared a few pictures of her and Robby together after a Tenacious D concert they attended together in 2013 with this message:

Happy birthday, Robby. I miss you every day. As sad as it makes me that you’re gone, I hope you know that remembering you means smiling. You were hilarious- always making us laugh, always focusing on the comedy, always looking “on the bright side of life” to quote your Monty Python fav. We took this photo right after a Tenacious D show in 2013 where we sang (no exaggeration) EVERY WORD (which you can see we are still doing in the second pic) 😆 One of the best nights of our lives! I love you forever.

In a interview concerning The Bitter Truth, Amy revealed she wrote Far From Heaven indirectly about him, in special the line "What I wouldn’t give to be with you for one more night". This song made their father cry when she played the album for her family on Christmas 2020.
