General information

Written by: A. Lee

Sometimes misspelled as "Goodnite". Recorded in 1998, but it was released until May 2000 on the Blitz Locals CD, which was given away for charity. Ben Moody is credited as "The Void" for "The Blitzkrieg Theme 2000", which is the first track on the same CD.

Vin1.jpg This CD compilation of Arkansas musicians was produced as a premium gift for listeners who pledged support to Blitzkrieg, a program aired on public radio station KABF 88.3 FM. 20 copies were produced. Vin2.jpg

Lori Lee's former band, Solstice has a song titled "Goodnight" as well, and it was recorded around the same time as the Evanescence EP, which was released 1998.

Lyrics

Goodnight, sleep tight
No more tears
In the morning I'll be here

And when we say goodnight,
Dry your eyes
Because we said goodnight,
And not goodbye

We said goodnight
And not goodbye
