Fallen es el primer álbum de larga duración de Evanescence, y su primer álbum que fue lanzado en todo el mundo.

Fallen fue el octavo álbum de mayor venta en los EE.UU. en 2004, con cerca de 2,61 millones de copias vendidas en ese año. El álbum fue grabado en Ocean Studios (Burbank) y Conway Recording Studios (Hollywood), ambos en California. El álbum alcanzó el estado de 7 veces Platino el 24 de junio de 2008 en los EE.UU.

Esta es una de las razones por las cuales Fallen se llama así. Ben Moody dijo en una estrevista que Fallen fue hecho para que las personas sepan que no están solos cuando se sienten solos o tristes.

Fallen ha vendido 15 millones de copias mundialmente y aproximadamente 5 y medio millón en los Estados Unidos solamente. El album debutó en el #7 y no ha ido más abajo del #39 hasta al momento en el Billboard Album Chart. El album estubo en el top 10 por 43 semanas no consecutivas. Fue lanzado el 4 de marzo de 2003.   • Como se ha indicado en una entrevista con Amy, Made of Stone y The Other Side son sencillos, pero sólo de radio (sin vídeo), mientras que Lost In Paradise será el próximo single principal, el cual tendrá video proximamente. Lost in Paradise ya ha publicado un Lyric Video.

  • Amy ha participado en la Onceava entrega Anual de Mujeres a quienes les importa Luncheon, donde se dio el Luella bennack Service Award, un reconocimiento que se da a las mujeres que sacrifican su tiempo libre y más tiempo a proyectos comunitarios y organizaciones benéficas.
