Love Goes On and On is a song from Lindsey Stirling's fifth studio album, Artemis, which features Amy Lee. Lindsey shared a snippet of the song on her Instagram on July 16, 2019.[1] The album was released on September 6, 2019.
In a Q&A live stream on Lindsey's Instagram, this is what she had to say about Amy featuring on the song:

It was cool now as a friend to be able to hit her up and be like "Hey, Amy, do you want to do a song together?". And it was really cool because I sent her the song and there was a little bit of lyrics in the song, but mostly it was just epic "ooohs" and "aaahs" and I just wanted her voice to soar at the top of it. And then she sent it back to me like I had written it, and she also sent it back [saying] "Or like this?" and she had written lyrics over the chorus, and I was like "That's freaking awesome!". So anyway, it was really cool, very collaborative experience, I cannot wait for you guys to hear that song![2] |
