I Walk The Line is a song by the US artist Johnny Cash, recorded in 1956. After three other songs with little success in music charts, "I Walk the Line" was his first single to reach position #1 at Billboard. The single has been in the chart for 43 weeks, and it sold 2 million copies.
During the "We Walk the Line: A Celebration of the Music of Johnny Cash" concert, held on April 20, 2012 at the Moody Theater in Austin, Amy Lee and all of the other invited artists performed this song in his memory. Amy sang her part of the song with Pat Monahan of Train. The performance was filmed and it was released, along with the full concert, on a DVD.[1]
