When Seether was making Disclaimer in 2002, the band wanted Amy Lee to collaborate before the world ever knew about Evanescence. The label balked at the idea until two years later when the Punisher’s soundtrack was compiled.

| The video for the song is a live performance video filmed in an abandoned area of the Lancaster Desert in California. The video was filmed in mid-March 2004. The director was Nigel Dick, who is also known for directing the MTV Video Music Award winner “Hero”. There used to be a crystal meth lab there, before it blew up twice. This is the second single off of the Punisher soundtrack (Drowning Pool’s Step Up was the first) and the first single off of Seether’s remixed Disclaimer II.

| Fallen - Amy Lee is quoted to have said, “We've all fallen, but at the same time we're not broken. There is the hint that we are going to get up again.” This is one of the reasons that Fallen is called what it is. Ben Moody in an interview said that Fallen was made to let people know that they aren’t alone when they feel alone or feel pain. Fallen has sold well over 12 million copies worldwide and about 5 and a half million in the US alone. The album debuted at #7 and has not fallen below #39 to date on the Billboard Album Chart. The album stayed in the top 10 for 43 non-consecutive weeks. Released March 4th, 2003. The CD was re-released in January 2004 with the band version of My Immortal. Fallen was Grammy nominated for Album of the Year in 2004.

| Lacuna Coil - Italian band formed in 1996 and led by Cristina Scabbia and Andrea Ferro. Evanescence is constantly compared to this band. Their first EP was released in 1998. Their most recent release came on April 4, 2006 with Karmacode. The album features the singles "Our Truth" and "Closer" and features a cover of Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence." Ms. Scabbia is rumored to be a member on the Evboard.

| LeCompt, John - Evanescence guitarist since 2002. Credited for writing Forever Gone, Forever You and Taking Over Me. Performs Paul McCoy’s part in Bring Me to Life during live shows. Provided vocals and guitar for Mindrage from 1998-2001. Killsystem vocalist/guitarist in 2002. Featured vocalist in Soul Embraced’s “Feels Like Forever” in early 2003. Collaborated with his brother Jimmy in a project called Burnt Offerings. The song they are known for doing together is called “Free But Hollow”. Voted by Evboarders as the sexiest male member past or present.

| Lee, Amy Lynn - Co-founder and lead singer of Evanescence. Born in California on December 13, 1981, moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, Rockford, Illinois and finally stopped in Little Rock, Arkansas. Responsible for many of Evanescence’s hard hitting lyrics.
