Chinese Deluxe Release

Status: In Print

Note that this release has an odd green tint to the album cover, instead of the usual clear and shiny appearance. Also, like most Chinese releases, it comes with little advertisements and cards.

Taiwan Deluxe Release

Status: In Print
Label: Wind-Up/EMI
Cat.no: 5099967888023

This release has only a few small differences from the Chinese release. The back of the OBI is different and the extra booklet is in black and white instead of color. The catalog number remains the same.

Japanese Standard Release

Status: In Print
Label: Wind-Up/EMI
Cat.no: TOCP 71195

Japanese Deluxe Release

Status: In Print
Label: Wind-Up/EMI
Cat.no: TOCP 71196

This release was made of a really glossy cardboard, which causes the scans to turn out dark, but in reality the cover is very shiny and sparkles.

Korean Standard Release

Status: In Print
Label: Wind-Up/EMI
Cat.no: EKPD-1591

This release came with a unique promotional booklet inside the case.

Promotional Releases

A promotional recording, or promo, is a recording issued on Vinyl, 8-track, Cassette, CD, MP3, VHS, DVD, or Blu-ray and distributed free in order to promote a commercial recording. Promos are usually sent out to music radio and television stations, music journalists and reviewers, in advance of the official release date so that their reviews will appear in the current publications, and DJs. They are often distributed in plain white packaging, without the text or artwork that appears on the commercial version. Promos are distributed to expose a new product or release to those who are in a position to market it and entice the general public to purchase it. Because promos are produced in smaller quantity than releases made available to the general public, they are considered valuable collector's items. Contrary to popular belief, it is not illegal to sell promotional recordings, despite the recording industry's insistence that promos may not be sold, given away or even discarded.

Cat.no: none

Official 2011 Japanese EMI label 5-track promotional only CD-R acetate, includes the song 'What You Want', plus material from The Kooks, Icon For Hire, James Durbin and Jane's Addiction.
