I Trading Yesterday sono la band di David Hodges formatasi dopo il suo abbandono degli Evanescence e nota in precedenza come Trading Yesterday. La band ha rilasciato "The Beauty And The Tragedy", a metà giugno 2004. La band ha firmato con la Epic Records nell'estate del 2004, ma ha sciolto i rapporti con l'etichetta nel 2005. La loro canzone One Day appare nella colonna sonora di Stealth. L'album è stato prodotto da Dave Fortman (che ha anche prodotto Fallen e The Open Door). Nel giugno 2006, il batterista e co-fondatore Mark Colbert, ha lasciato la band per seguire una carriera come ingegnere, ma la band non ha ancora nominato un sostituto. Il loro album More Than This è stato definitivamente accantonato e non sarà mai rilasciato ufficialmente. Il download di 'More Than This' è dispondibile su Internet dal dicembre 2006. Nel 2007 la band decise di aggiungere altri due membri e di cambiare nome in The Age of Information.

More Than This
L’album fu finito durante la prima mettà del 2005 ed il singolo "One Day" fu pubblicato nella colonna sonora del film Stealth. More Than This, tuttavia, non fu mai ufficialmente pubblicato a causa della rottura con la loro casa discografica Epic Records ma successivamente rilasciato in internet nel Dicembre 2006.
