The Song
Originally released on the 1995 Smashing Pumpkins cd entitled 'Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness,' it was later covered regularly by Evanescence during the Fallen tour.
The Cat
While on tour, Amy and the band adopted a cat who was given this name. Sadly, he had an unfortunate encounter with a coyote and he is no more.[1]
