The UK was supposed to release both parts on May 8th, but all UK Sweet Sacrifice singles were recalled (according to ebay sellers) and never released. As Germany and Taiwan are the only producers of the release, it is sure to become one of the rarest of the Evanescence singles as it has always been somewhat difficult to acquire. It is assumed that the simultaneous lineup changes ([[John LeCompt|John]] and [[Rocky Gray|Rocky]] leaving the band) are to blame for the lack of promotion for the single.
