Tim McCord (born June 28, 1979, in Sacramento, California) is the bass player for Evanescence. He is most known for playing guitar for the band The Revolution Smile from 2000 to 2004. Announced as Evanescence's bass player in August 2006. Tim replaced Evanescence bassist Will Boyd after he left in June 2006. Tim's older brother, Matthew McCord, is active in the Sacramento indie music scene.
