Cruel Summer is a song by the English-Irish girl group, Bananarama. It was released in 1983 from their 1984 self-titled second album. Amy Lee and Troy McLawhorn covered the song as part of the acoustic live stream for Metal Hammer Germany on June 4, 2020.
Amy said this about the cover:
I don't know about you guys, but so many songs have seemed to take on a new and deeper meaning during this [COVID-19 pandemic] time, and that's one of those for me. |
