Το κομμάτι προοριζόταν να γίνει το τρίτο single από το The Open Door, όμως αφού
άκουσε τα αιτήματα απο το συγκρότημα και τις αντιδράσεις των fans γι' αυτή την απόφαση, η
εταιρία διάλεξε το Sweet Sacrifice στη θέση του. [1]

- Το “All That I’m Living For” που ροκάρει σκληρά, επικεντρώνεται στο ίδιο το συγκρότημα. Η γένεση του προήλθε από τη συνειδητοποίηση, που είχε μια μέρα η Amy, ότι το συγκρότημα της ήταν η ζωή της. “Δε κάνω τίποτα άλλο,” λέει. “Γράφω για το συγκρότημα, κάνω περιοδίες για το συγκρότημα, δίνω συνέντευξη για το συγκρότημα, ή σκέφτομαι το επόμενο πράγμα που θέλω να γράψω. Είναι η ζωή μου, και το αγαπάω, αλλά είναι μια σχέση αγάπης/μίσους”

"Αγαπώ αυτό το κομμάτι. Το νιώθουμε πολύ
διαφορετικό για εμάς. Οι στίχοι μιλάνε για τη συγγραφική διαδικασία μου - πως βάζω ένα
κομμάτι σε σειρά, γιατί το κάνω, και πως προσπαθώ να διορθώσω όλα τα πράγματα, που είναι
λάθος με εμένα, μέσω της μουσικής. Η πρώτη γραμμή λέει, "Save me from the night again/ I
can feel the separation from the living."[3] Είναι πάντα νύχτα όταν αρχίζω να γράφω, καθώς πέφτει το σούρουπο."
