- Evanescence concluded Synthesis Live at the Sunlight Supply Amphitheatre in Ridgefield, WA. During the show Troy McLawhorn pranked Amy Lee by running on stage pretending to play Lindsey Stirling's violin solo on Hi-Lo, and Amy pranked Lindsey by going on stage dressed as Chewbacca for the Shatter Me performance.

- Evanescence posted a video teaser which includes live footage of the Connecticut show and the date "August 8th". There is speculation that this could be the announcement of the live DVD.
