- Evanescence has shared more behind-the-scenes photos on their Instagram stories of a string recording session in Los Angeles with their long-time collaborator, cellist Dave Eggar, composer Michael Wandmacher, and conductor Susie Seiter.

- Evanescence shared some photos and video clips on their Instagram stories in the studio recording new music with Jordan Fish and Zakk Cervini. A notebook can be seen in the corner showing the title Self-Destruct which could reference a new song title.

- In a new interview with Will Hunt, he revealed that for the upcoming album, Evanescence has done 4 songs with Nick Raskulinecz and 6-7 songs with Jordan Fish and Zakk Cervini, with Zakk mixing the entire album.
