- This was the first time Evanescence had been committed to CD.
- According to an email written by Brad Caviness on July 12, 1998, a remixed version of "Understanding" with strings was to be included on Evanescence's indie debut album titled "vanish" later in 1998 through Bigwig Enterprises. However, this was later merged into Origin much later.[2]
