The Record Plant
Founded in 1968 in New York City. A new facility opened in 1969 in Los Angeles, California. After the Los Angeles facility was destroyed by fire in 1978, it was rebuilt in 1985 in Hollywood.
Evanescence recorded The Open Door at the Hollywood facility in March 2006.
