VH1 Greatest Hard Rock Songs was a program on VH1 Classic provided by VH1. Hosted by Bret Michaels, it was a five-part program that first aired from December 29, 2008, to January 2, 2009. Amy Lee was one of many artists that featured and provided commentary over the songs.[1]

Bring Me to Life was ranked #83 on the countdown.[2]

Ronnie James Dio commented: "I love Evanescence. I love the darkness of it. I just thought the song was so different."
