In an interview with Revolver magazine in 2004, lead singer, Chester Bennington, talked about meeting the band in the studio and how Amy explained that their label tried to make Evanescence sound like them;

Multiplatinum band who Evanescence has been compared to in terms of sound especially for Evanescence’s first hit single “Bring Me to Life”. Also, mentioned as an inspiration for the band.
