She earned recognition for her surreal performance art videos on YouTube from 2011 to 2014, in which she played an uncanny valley-like android satirizing internet culture and modern society. She has become more widely known for being highly experimental and versatile with her artistry and music.
On 26 August 2025, Poppy shared an image of herself, standing alongside Amy Lee and Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox, sparking rumours that a possible collaboration between the three artists is coming.[1] Two days later, they posted a video teaser that included a new clip of a song called End of You.
