Utah-based emocore band that released a self-titled debut in June 2002. This band was a replacement at the KROQ Weenie Roast in Los Angeles in the summer of 2003 after Evanescence pulled out due to a Ben Moody illness.
Bert McCracken, lead singer of The Used, had the following to say in an MTV article: "Evan-offense, what is the band called? Sucka-essence," McCracken joked. "Anyways, that sh--ty band that was supposed to [perform] canceled, so we got their spot and it went beautifully."
