Synthesis is to be the title of Evanescence's fourth album. The new album was announced on the band's Facebook page[1] on May 10th 2017. It is due to be released later in 2017.
In the announcement video, Amy Lee describes the concept as a mix between synergy and natural, electronic and classical. The album will be recorded alongside a full orchestra. Scores are to be composed and the orchestra conducted by David Campbell, who has worked with Evanescence on their previous three studio albums. The album will mainly contain completely re-imagined versions of the band's previous music, but will include two new compositions.
