Founded in 1968 in New York City and followed by a second facility in Los Angeles, California in 1969. After the Los Angeles facility was destroyed by fire in 1978, it was rebuilt in 1985 in Hollywood.
Evanescence recorded The Open Door at the Hollywood facility in March 2006.
