I Withered Wisteria sono un progetto di Alberto, che nell'Agosto del 2007 decise di dare vita al tributo agli Evanescence che sognava da mesi. Grazie ad alcuni amici e musicisti molto noti potè organizzare una prima prova, suonando Tourniquet, My Immortal e Bring me to Life. Dopo alcuni cambi di line-up, a Dicembre la band completò la sua line-up e decise di prendere parte al contest organizzato dal fan club ufficiale italiano. Cominciarono a fare molta pratica, sforzandosi di essere ben preparati per il loro primo live. A Dicembre registrarono anche il loro primo demo con “Call Me When You’re Sober”, al Music Inside Recording Studio (Carpi, MO). La canzone fu mixata e prodotta da Davide Rossi nello studio di Castel D’Azzano (Verona). Il primo live della band fu il 16 Gennaio al Klakson (Montecavolo, RE). Lo show venne registrato da Valerio “Wally G” Carboni (Musica) e Ivano Incerti (video). Nelle ultime due settimane di Gennaio 2008 Valerio lavorò al mix e alla modifica del video di “Call Me When You’re Sober”, richiesto per il contest. La band ora sta studiando e facendo pratica dell'intero repertorio degli Evanescence, a partire dal 1998. I Withered Wisteria desiderano creare una set list per i loro concerti che cominci con le prime canzoni degli Evanescence e che termini con il loro ultimo lavoro “The Open Door”. 	Keshna e Alex si sono conosciuti nel 2003 inoltrato. Un po' di tempo dopo essersi incontrati, cominciarono a eseguire insieme alcuni pezzi, di cui la principale fu My Immortal degli Evanescence. Uno dei posti più ~~importanto~~ dove suonarono questo pezzo fu al National Folk Festival 2005.		Keshna e Alex si sono conosciuti nel 2003 inoltrato.
