Fallen is the first full-length album by Evanescence, and their first album to achieve widespread release around the world.

Fallen was the eighth best-selling album in the U.S. in 2004, with about 2.61 million copies sold that year. The album was recorded at Ocean Studios (Burbank) and Conway Recording Studios (Hollywood) both in California. The album reached 7x Platinium status on 24th June 2008 in the U.S.

Amy Lee stated:

This is one of the reasons that Fallen is called what it is. Ben Moody in an interview said that Fallen was made to let people know that they aren’t alone when they feel alone or feel pain.

Fallen has sold well over 15 million copies worldwide and about 5 and a half million in the US alone. The album debuted at #7 and has not fallen below #39 to date on the Billboard Album Chart. The album stayed in the top 10 for 43 non-consecutive weeks. Released March 4th, 2003.

The CD was re-released in January 2004 with the band version of My Immortal. Fallen was Grammy nominated for Album of the Year in 2004. John LeCompt and Rocky Gray both had writing credits on Fallen before they officially joined the band. John has credits on Taking Over Me and Rocky has credits for writing the original version of Tourniquet (originally called My Tourniquet) for his band, Soul Embraced. The latest album features the 12th song My Immortal (Band Version) but does not state this song on the tracklisting.

Hi.. You can do that.. you can start translating, create new pages with the same title in english, but, at the ending, add "/it".. example.. if you wanna start translating the main page.. go to the english Main page (http://evanescencereference.info/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page) and then type in the adress bar "/it" (http://evanescencereference.info/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page/it)... then it will show you a message saying "There is currently no text in this page, you can search for this page title in other pages or edit this page", now you can clic on EDIT button, and start doing it.. you can copy the source code from the english one, and start replacing words... please, check out the source codes from the other languages (like spanish) and you'll see how you should do it..

Thanks for your help..
I alreadi fixed some links.. so, after editing the links, you just have to move the pages.. how?.. well, you go to the page and click on the tab MOVE, so you type the exact title in english, adding the "/it".. example.. i moved the CANZONI page..
Why
I believe so. I don't know why, but for some reason the coding for the images was spilling over into the next categories and not lining up at all with the text. Maybe it's just in firefox, but it looked bad. Perhaps just a text version would suffice?

Well I do edit a lot of the pages created by you Italian and Portuguese fans. ;D

In fact, I just redid the entire page on the VSQ's tribute to Ev...

So, question time! Favorite Ev song ever??

My friend is actually going to give me some Sirenia songs so I'll be listening to them soon. :)

Favorite Evanescence cover??

Also, do you know if Armando and Gya... (I don't know how to type it) are active that much??

And Matty, Sparky, and I have done a lot of work on the Third Album page. Please check it out.

Feel free to join our discussion in the talk page. I don't bite. I just get really hyper and crazy. :)

Nuove canzoni

You've Got A Lot To Learn. Meet me after dark again and I'll hold you (hold you)<br>
I want nothing more than to see you there (hold you)<br>
<br>
And maybe tonight<br>
We'll fly so far away<br>
We'll be lost before the dawn<br>
<br>
If only night could hold you where I can see you my love<br>
Then let me never ever wake again<br>
<br>
General Information
Written by: A. Lee, B. Moody and D. Hodges

The song was developed during the 2001-2002 demos and later released as track #9 on Fallen. The most personal song ever written and released by Amy Lee and this is the only Fallen song that has never been performed in a concert to date though the band considered doing it back in 2003 and a theme from the song was used in the beginning of a few live shows in 2003 as the intro to the song Going Under. There is also a video of Amy singing it in her parents' house in 2004 which is the only recorded live version of the song.

The song is about one of Amy’s sisters, who passed away in 1987 at the age of three from an unidentified illness. (This sister's name is known, but is not provided out of respect)
This sister was later the inspiration for a second song, Like You.
